Whitefish
Brewing Company, nestled in the North Flathead Valley at the
foot of The Big Mountain ski resort, began brewing beer in Whitefish in
July of 1991 after contract brewing for the four previous years through
Montana Beverages in Helena MT.
Over the succeeding five years Whitefish Brewing Co. has grown from a 3 bbl pilot brewery to a 20 bbl HDP gas fired system. The bottling line went into service January 1,1996 producing a 22oz package,and on June 1,1997 a 12 oz package came into the market place.
