The Sleeping Giant Brewery is a state of the
art brewing facility located in the heart of America’s last great place -
Montana. The Sleeping Giant is the predominant mountain in the Big Belt Range to
the north of Helena. His bold and unique silhouette was the inspiration for our breweries name and in many ways our brewing style. We go out of our way to produce unique and outstanding beers true to the styles of their old world origins but with the flair that Montana offers. We proudly say that pure Montana water running down from the top of Continental Divide just minutes away, along with freshly malted barley and hops, and our breweries own unique yeast are the only raw materials that go into our beers. Our secret ingredient, however, is the pride and craftsmanship added by dedicated people lucky enough to be called Montanans. Our "Tap Room" offers a unique experience and comfortable atmosphere to sample our beers, meet friends for a cold beer or host a great private party. It has just been totally redesigned in a mine shaft motif, with lots of rough-sawn lumber bar tops, beams and wainscoting to create a warm laid-back attitude with a flair for the old west. We have all of our 6 flagship beers on tap and normally at least 2 special rotating beers as well. Our beers are served in the "Tap Room" and also available for take home with our ½ gallon glass growlers.
