Montana Whitewater
is a medium size raft company located in Southwest Montana. They have 2
offices - one in Gardiner at the North Entrance of Yellowstone National
Park and one in Gallatin Gateway, just 12 miles southwest of Bozeman.
The company was started in 1991 by a small group including Bill Zell, an Outdoor Educator and corporate refugee. Bill still enjoys guiding and is out on the Gallatin more days than anyone, making sure the trips run smooth and enjoying his first love, paddling. If you are lucky enough to get him as your guide, you will have the most fun possible! Montana Whitewater runs Half-Day and Full-Day Raft trips from May to September. Their high water season is in June and the water level drops as the summer passes. Throughout the spring and summer, they have raft trips suitable for families and first-timers. Their primary concern with every river experience is safety. As a locally owned and operated raft company, Montana Whitewater can proudly say that they do everything to make each trip the best possible experience.
