Nestled in the
foothills of Montana's snow peaked Elkhorn Mountains is Peace Valley, home
of the Boulder Hot Springs, an historic landmark
which once catered to Presidents and wealthy ranchers.
The Hot Springs now offers a conference facility for large and small groups and a bed and breakfast operation that is open year round. A weekly Sunday buffet is also available. Their greatest attraction has always been their mineral-laden, geo-thermal waters that range from 140 - 175 degrees. It is piped to indoor and outdoor pools where it is mixed with cold spring water. No chemicals are added to the indoor pools. Three tiled indoor pools offer men and women separate facilities for soaking and bathing. The women's bathhouse offers one hot pool maintained at 104 degrees and a cooler one at 70 degrees, while the men's bathhouse has one hot pool at 104 degrees. There are steam rooms, as well as changing and shower areas in both bathhouses. Bathing suits are optional. All pools are handicap accessible with assistance.
